Botox®

Botox® is one of the most popular, safe and effective treatments for the reduction of frown lines, forehead wrinkles, crow's feet, bunny lines, radial lip lines and lines around the corners of the mouth. The procedure takes about 15 minutes and usually takes about 3-5 days to be noticed. Treatments take place over a 3-5 month period.

Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein administered in a simple nonsurgical procedure that temporarily improves the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people aged 18 to 65. During treatment, very low doses of Botox® Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles that cause those stubborn lines between the brows.

Botox works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected area. This prevents further muscle contractions relaxing the muscle which ultimately smoothes out the wrinkles. Botox is only confined to the treatment area. It does not travel through your body.
